The SEVA Center is inspired by the Montessori method in all its courses for students. This pedagogical approach emphasizes:
The child at the center: Learning is centered on the needs, interests, and pace of each child.
Autonomy and freedom: Children are encouraged to make their own choices and learn through experimentation.
Prepared environment: An organized, stimulating space encourages discovery and independent learning.
Teaching aids: Tools adapted and designed for each stage of the child’s development.
Role of the adult: A guide and scientific observer who encourages the child and offers individualized support.
Montessori philosophy and E.G. White’s book “Education”:
Holistic development: Both consider the child’s overall development (intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual).
Environment: They stress the importance of an environment that is prepared and adapted to the child’s needs.
Experiential learning: They stress the importance of allowing the child to experience things, where freedom blends harmoniously with self-control.
Inspired by nature: They are both inspired by nature and have developed scientific observation.
New: The SEVA Center offers scientific observation of children.
This observation enables us to understand, through individualized follow-up, the causes of the difficulties encountered by the child (physical, psychological, relational, and pedagogical).
This new service is a real breath of fresh air for families struggling to cope with their children’s problems.
Homeschooling:
An important topic for families looking for alternatives to traditional education. The SEVA Center is developing this increasingly topical subject, drawing on a wealth of experience and scientific studies.
